Bahar is an emerging pop artist writing the soundtrack of her life. Fluent in eight different languages, Bahar delivers a lyrical depth to her heart-on-sleeve music, turning the intensity and spontaneity of teenage life into sharp, melodic songs. Her debut single, "Cute," was recorded at the renowned Studio 606 and produced by six-time Grammy winner Rob Chiarelli. After Bahar reached out to him last summer, Chiarelli was immediately struck by the young artist's talent.

Bahar's music captures sensitive topics like bullying, feeling left out, insecurities, and the chaos of growing up, all through the lens of a teenage songwriter finding her voice.

Bahar Announces New Single "Bam Bam Bam," Out July 16

The 16-year-old singer-songwriter turns fictional romance, emotional obsession and teenage escapism into an addictive new pop release.

Emerging singer-songwriter Bahar will release her new single, "Bam Bam Bam," on July 16, 2026.

Produced with GETH in London, "Bam Bam Bam" is a vibrant pop song about a relationship that feels intense, obsessive and impossible for anyone outside of it to understand. Built around the emotional highs and lows of toxic love, the track captures the rush of being completely consumed by someone, even when that person may only exist in your imagination.

Inspired by Bahar's own experience of turning to books and fictional characters during a period when she felt isolated and excluded at school, the song explores the comfort that imaginary worlds can provide when real life feels lonely.

"I was being bullied and had no real friends at the time, so books became my escape," Bahar explains. "I started thinking about the idea of a fictional boyfriend, someone who wasn't real, but still felt like the only person who truly understood me. 'Bam Bam Bam' grew from that feeling."

Blending emotionally honest songwriting with a playful, memorable pop sound, "Bam Bam Bam" transforms loneliness into a dramatic fictional love story. The relationship at the centre of the song feels like a rollercoaster: exciting, chaotic, addictive and deeply personal.

The release also connects naturally with BookTok culture and with listeners who found comfort in fictional characters before finding people who understood them in real life.

"Bam Bam Bam" follows Bahar's recent singles "Cute," "I Always Knew That No One Would Love Me" and "Freak," continuing her exploration of adolescence, bullying, insecurity, relationships and the experience of feeling different.

At just 16 years old, Bahar is building a growing international audience through emotionally direct songwriting and a strong social media presence. A multi-instrumentalist who plays piano, guitar and violin, she has written hundreds of original songs and works between Türkiye, the United Kingdom and the United States.
